What Is In-Game Scoring?

Step 2: Score each at-bat. For each batter, record the result: single, double, strikeout, groundout, fly ball, walk, hit by pitch, and more. Rizzler logs the result and advances runners automatically.
Step 3: Track pitches alongside at-bats. If you're charting pitches (which Rizzler handles in the same interface), every pitch is logged alongside the at-bat result. Pitch counting and charting runs parallel to scoring; you don't need two people or two apps.
Step 4: Review live stats during the game. Between innings, glance at the box score, check pitch counts, and see batting stats updated in real time. Make lineup adjustments based on actual data, not gut feel.
Step 5: Game ends, stats are done. When the final out is recorded, Rizzler saves the full game record. Every stat from that game, from batting average and OPS to ERA, pitch count, and fielding percentage, rolls into your season totals automatically.
