What is Playing Time Tracking?
Playing time tracking is the practice of recording how many innings each player plays, at which positions, and in which batting order spots across a season. It's how youth baseball coaches monitor fairness, comply with minimum play rules, and answer parent questions about rotation with data instead of memory.
Most coaches don't track playing time systematically. They rely on intuition and good intentions. The problem is that good intentions don't prevent the same kid from sitting for three straight innings, and they don't help when a parent asks "why has my daughter only played second base twice this season?"
How Playing Time Tracking Works in Rizzler
